Intercultural Engagement

Global Engineers is an experiential learning module at Stellenbosch University (SU) that is offered to engineering students at both SU and Hochschule Düsseldorf (University of Applied Sciences) simultaneously. The purpose of the course is to offer a multiculutural interinstitutional learning opportunity to students who want to build their professional competency and understanding of the skills required from engineers who work in a global environment, with specific focus on understanding the role of culture in navigating a multinational, diverse intercultural work environment.
